Rooms
Each room can be setup any way you choose. The space you rent will be available after 2pm for evening events and 2 hours prior for daytime events. Below are popular room sets and their capacity.
Emerson Room
The Emerson Room is the North dining room upstairs. This room comes with a beautiful view of the 18th green as well as the 10th tee box. This room is ideal for small private events.

Maxwell Room
The Maxwell Room is the South dining room upstairs, overlooking the pool and the 18th green. Sit-down dinners as well as intimate parties are popular in this room.

The Grille
The Grille is our informal dining area downstairs. This room is equipped with its own bar and is perfect for informal buffets and parties.

Ross Wilson Room
The Ross Wilson Room is located downstairs, just South of The Grille. Named for the first golf professional at Prairie Dunes, this room is ideal for smaller gatherings and meetings.

Conference Room
Hold your business meetings or gathering in our new conference room. The room is equipped for all your business and entertaining needs, including a beautiful conference table, seating for 14, and Audio/Visual equipment. Our conference room is also ideal for hors d’oeuvres, cocktailing or dining purposes. The best part of the room is its view. The best view is seen from the windows overlooking the rolling hills of the front nine that is Prairie Dunes.
Catering Policies
Minimums
Each room available for use has a preset minimum requirement. We ask that you spend this amount in food prepared by Prairie Dunes. If you meet the minimum; there is no room rental fee. Should you not reach the specified minimum, you will be charged the minimum amount as a room rental fee. The minimums are as follows:
- Maxwell Room – $2800
- Emerson Room – $1200
- Grille – $500
- Ross Wilson Room – $200
- Conference Room – $150
- Lounge – $1000
- Main Level (3 rooms) – $5,000
- Entire Club – $8,500
Billing
All charges are billed to the Member Account (sponsor) and are received on their monthly statement.
Cancellation Policy
Should an event be cancelled 72 hours prior to the event, there will be no charge. Should an event be cancelled 48 hours prior to the event, half the price of the event (cost of food ordered) will be charged. Should an event be cancelled 24 hours prior to the event the sponsor will be charged in full for the event (cost of food ordered).
Guarantee Policy
The Catering Manager must receive a guaranteed count for all functions at least 72 hours prior to the function. If a final guarantee is not provided, the last number received will be used as the guarantee. The sponsor will be charged for the final guarantee or the actual number served, whichever is greater. The Club will prepare 5% above the final guarantee.
